Abstract
Mobile language learning applications are changing the way we learn. However, users are facing one problem: motivation. Self learning via application is easy to deceiving, so we propose a new approach for language learning application that provide users words that are relevant to daily activities in a ”suitable” time determined by the application: It is a location and activity based learning application, which can detect users’ position and physical activities to find a proper time for suggesting new Japanese words that are related that geological location. However, the suggested lessons are required to be short and effective enough so that users can learn them in their small ”suitable” time zone.
